Valamkaimaalai ![]() The Valamkaimaalai is an ancient palm-leaf text (also in copper plates as known to be preserved in some temples in south India), written in early Tamil in between 7th and 9th century A.D by a sage and warrior 'Enathi Nayanar'. This describes the history of Nadars almost from 2000 B.C of their various war triumphs all over India. This also describes the story of 'Saptha Matrikaas' and goddess 'Kaali' as depicted in many Hindu temples in India. |
