The Dravidian Lineages - The Nadars Through The Ages - Dr.M.Immanuel
This book, a critique of Robert Hardgrave.Jr's The Nadars of Tamil Nadu - (1969) explains the socio-political ethno-linguistic and ethno-national
heritage of ancient Indians linked with rulers, Sages and the Base-Society
identified as Dravidians; 
with special reference to the Nadars of Asia,
who are wrongly portrayed by major western scholars including Bishop
Caldwell, as simple ‘Toddy Tappers’. But analyzing the hidden truths
of history verified with various 
archaeological depictions found in the
temples of India as well as different inscriptions gathered from India
and abroad, the author finds the root of this ancient community to the
ancestors of the 
great Jain saint Mahavira and also to the kings
like Chanta Asoka and many dynasties like the Chahamanaas,
Rashtrakutas and Mouryas etc. Referring to the Sanskrit lexicon and
various other 
literary evidences found in Indian epics and literature,
the author establishes the roots of this community to the ancient
Rajputs and other Base Societies known by different names in
different times as Lichchavis, Madhva, Tvashtri, 
Trippapur,
Villava, Ediga, Vanava, Shanar (Santor), Chovan, Chauhan, Kavara,
Vrishni, Bhills, Gramani, Ratnins, Vidhyadharas etc. Unfortunately,
these tribes are presently neglected to the bottom realms of the
society enforced by the Aryan Sanadhana Dharma; and the author
craves for a reunification of all these tribes to establish a
